A Scotwork negotiation training course is about skills development; it is about what happens during a negotiation and how participants can achieve a better outcome in line with their interests.

Like our competitors, we teach how to prepare for a negotiation, and explain negotiating techniques; where Scotwork excels is in coaching the effective application of these techniques. What distinguishes the Scotwork negotiation training course from others are the 22 hours of live negotiating practice, out of a total of 28 hours of training.

Working in teams of three, the 12 course participants undertake a series of live negotiating exercises, which are video recorded and then reviewed by the two course tutors. This participant tutor ratio of 6 to 1 allows each individual to receive personal attention resulting in measurable improvement in performance.
