Scotwork Extended Learning Process - Scotwork Negotiation Training Courses

Long term skill development requires practise and relevant application back in the work environment. The Scotwork Extended Learning Process™ is designed to involve managers in the development process, to encourage application of the skills and to provide additional advice and support.

Participants who show continued improvement use 3 key processes:

1) They set immediate personal skill and transactions goals

2) They practice and apply the skills to achieve these goals

3) They seek and receive feedback and support from a coach

 

 

Our research and client feedback tells us that managers and participants do not find it easy to monitor the progress of skills development. They told us of a wish to extend the learning process back into the workplace:

The Scotwork Extended Learning Process is designed to continue skill development for at least 3 months after the course by supporting the 3 key processes.

Clients can enrol their participants in the Scotwork Extended Learning Process which allows them to set both personal and transaction goals on the course and then provides continuing support in working to achieve them. 

This web-based system encourages regular application of the skills, provides additional content comprising advice and skill tips, and allows the client sponsor to monitor individual and group progress towards the goals.  Participants can seek advice and feedback from their manager or coach, edit and restate their goals, and even share their progress with their peer group.
