Proven Results in negotiation

Every year organisations spend billions of pounds on management development. Measuring the return on this investment can be difficult to do.

At Scotwork, we have always believed that our Negotiation Skills programmes not only have benefits in improving soft skills such as time management and confidence. We also believe that our course delivers enhanced negotiation outcomes which can be measured in financial terms.

Since 1991, we have been assessing the impact of our training courses as reported by the participants and their line managers and benchmarking the results.

We have conducted this research with over 15,000 participants and 5,000 managers and continue to monitor the results of our programmes all over the world.

What have we found?

  • 49% of all respondents tell us they saved the cost of the course within 3 months. (Another 45% might have, but could not measure the benefit in financial terms)

  • 14.4% say they got better deals to the value of more than £20,000 within 12 weeks of completion of their training

  • 99% of previous participants would recommend or had already recommended Scotwork to colleagues

  • 96% of participants said they improved their negotiating performance as a result of the course

  • 69% of participants would like more training from Scotwork
