SCOTWORK LIMITED: MODERN SLAVERY STATEMENT ISSUED PURSUANT TO SECTION 54 OF THE MODERN SLAVERY ACT 2015 <\/p>\n\n\n\n

OUR BUSINESS, STRUCTURE AND SUPPLY CHAINS <\/p>\n\n\n\n

This statement, made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015, sets out the approach taken by Scotwork Limited to understand all potential modern slavery risks related to its business, and the actions undertaken to mitigate any such risks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scotwork Limited is a global provider of Negotiation Skills Training. Scotwork Limited is run by a Board of Directors and has subsidiaries in the UK, Republic of Ireland, USA, Canada, China and Hong Kong. In addition a licensee network in other countries across the globe locally engage staff to manage our business delivery worldwide. We have long standing relationships with our key suppliers who are mainly based in the UK and Europe. Our customers consist of global companies as consumers of our Negotiation Skills Training. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scotwork Limited is committed to delivering high standards of corporate governance and a key element of this is managing Scotwork in a socially responsible way. Scotwork aims to employ the highest ethical and professional standards and always to comply with all local laws and regulations applicable to our business; it follows that Scotwork is absolutely committed to preventing slavery and human trafficking in its corporate activities and its supply chains. This commitment is emphasised in our employee training programmes and company policies. Scotwork also expects the same high standards which we set for ourselves from those parties with whom we engage, such as our suppliers and customers. Due to the nature of our business and our approach to governance, we assess that there is very low risk of slavery and human trafficking in our business and supply chains. However, we aim to periodically review the effectiveness of the relevant policies and procedures that we have in place. We do not have key performance indicators in relation to slavery or human trafficking as any instance would be expected to be a breach of law, our supplier standards and\/or our company policies. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We understand that our biggest potential exposure to Modern Slavers in our supply chains. Within these areas, we are working to ensure that new suppliers are subject to due diligence checks to ensure compliance with the Modern Slavery Act. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

STEPS TO ASSESS AND MANAGE RISKS <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Scotwork Limited recognises that there is a risk of modern slavery in any area of our business where there is: <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Migrant labour (country to country or within a country) <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Contract and agency workers <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Women workers <\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u2022 Outsourced human resources function <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We view these risks are minimal in our daily operations due to the nature of the sector in which we operate. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
