The elves had been grumbling for weeks. Long hours, outdated tools, and too-short candy breaks had pushed them to the edge. Some were even whispering about a strike.<\/p>\n<p>Santa knew he had to act fast. He called a meeting in the grand workshop. The elves shuffled in, ears twitching nervously, tools clutched tightly in their hands.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlright, everyone,\u201d Santa began, stroking his beard, \u201cI want to hear exactly what\u2019s troubling you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jingle, the head elf, stepped forward. \u201cSanta, the hours are too long, the machines are breaking down, and our candy breaks\u2026 well, they\u2019re basically nonexistent.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Santa nodded thoughtfully. \u201cI understand. I want you all to be happy and productive\u2014but we also need to make sure every child gets their gifts on time. So here\u2019s my proposal: rotating schedules to reduce overtime, upgraded toy-making tools, and a weekly cocoa break.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The elves exchanged glances. It was more than they expected\u2014but Santa paused. \u201cIn return,\u201d he continued, \u201cI need your help with something new. We\u2019re testing a Turbo Sleigh Assembly Line this year. It will speed up production and make it possible to finish all the toys without extra overtime\u2014but I\u2019ll need you to help me get it up and running.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A murmur ran through the elves. They wanted better conditions\u2014but the request wasn\u2019t unreasonable. Jingle tilted his head, then smiled. \u201cAlright, Santa. We\u2019ll do it\u2014but only if the cocoa breaks come with extra marshmallows.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Santa chuckled. \u201cDeal.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>By the end of the meeting, the elves were back at their stations, energised and motivated. Santa had preserved Christmas, improved working conditions, and gained their cooperation on the new assembly line. Everyone left the table feeling like a winner.<\/p>\n<p>On Christmas Eve, the sleigh took off smoothly, every gift delivered, every elf proud of their work.
