Adam White
SENIOR INTERNATIONAL CONSULTANT
Prior to Scotwork, Adam’s background was in the Financial Services sector. As a dual British and Finnish national, Adam was drafted to Finland for Military Service, when fresh out of University as a Business graduate. After the Army he returned to London and embarked on what was to become a near 20-year career in the Financial Markets.
He was part of an evolution in the markets from hustle bustle of open-outcry trading on The City exchange floors to silent, machine led high frequency trading; gaining a wealth of experience with investment banks and market makers (including Goldman Sachs, Kleinwort Benson, Westpac and Citi/Salomon Smith Barney) which took him around the globe working in London, Zurich and latterly Sydney, where he was based for 23 years before returning home to the UK in 2020.
Post trading, the second half of his career has been in consultancy – as a co-founder and Director of a successful Recruitment business specialising in the Equities space (Research Analysts) and Managed Services (IT transformation program and project managers), Business Development Director for a shareholder engagement and advisory firm and since 2014 was a freelance tutor for Scotwork Australia.
Adam is now a lead consultant for Scotwork International and travels all over to deliver training & consultancy for our global client base.
Adam’s interests include chess, teaching meditation and is a firm believer that mindset and performance are interlinked. Likewise, that confidence in negotiation with the right process can lead to improved outcomes – and even strengthen relationships if approached correctly i.e. win-win.
Adam enjoys teaching and helping others discover more of their potential to reach better deals.
